The promotion of sustainable business practices has become a key focus for OCM in recent years. Unsustainable human activities have generated threats such as climate change, resulting in damage, loss of life, and disruption to food and fresh water supplies. At the same time, life spans are increasing, and a growing world population will soon demand improved living standards as less developed countries modernise. As a result, investors are becoming increasingly concerned about the practices of global corporates, encouraging companies to end unsustainable behaviours and tackle future challenges.

OCM recognises that a growing number of investors now command that companies take more responsibility in promoting sustainability in their practices, therefore we make sure to incorporate sustainability factors into all our investment strategies to push our industry towards a more sustainable future, guided by the Sustainable Development Goals outlined by the United Nations in 2015.
